Shopify launches Linkpop to help merchants sell products directly from their Link in bio page
The leading eCommerce platform, Shopify, has recently launched an app called Linkpop to enable merchants to create cohesive brand experiences and make their Link in bio page shoppable.
Linkpop is the first one-of-a-kind commerce app by Shopify that allows merchants and creators to house all their brand-building links on one page and make them shoppable with Shopify’s secure checkout process.
With this tool, customers can browse through Shopify merchants’ collection of products and purchase directly from the tool without leaving the app they are using for searching.
Let us take a look at some of the features merchants can benefit from using the tool.
With this tool, Shopify merchants will be able to create a branded storefront to display their products on the platforms where they engage with their customers. Here are the things they can do on Linkpop.
As mentioned before, Shopify has powered the Linkpop tool with its secure checkout process. As a result, customers can enjoy a hassle-free, safe and secure checkout experience without ever leaving the platform they were on to make the purchase.
With this feature, merchants can customize their Linkpop page by changing fonts, background color and adding logo and engaging profile descriptions. They can also upload photos to the relevant links reflecting their brand style.
The linkpop tools come with a free inbuilt analytics tool that helps merchants track the customer behavior. It not only provides valuable metrics like unique visitors and link clicks, but also lets the merchants track the performance of individual links and know what the customers are engaging with most.
Shopify merchants can add up to 200 links and shoppable links to their Linkpop page with the flexibility to include all touchpoints like YouTube video links, a shoppable link featuring a new product, etc.
As soon as merchants set up their Linkpop account, they can start populating their shoppable links and other links to articles, videos, websites, and many more to the Linkpop page in just a few minutes. The shoppable links automatically start syncing to their product catalogs and get featured on merchants’ Linkpop page.
